The Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, has approved the re-appointment of Prof. Olu AKEUSOLA as Provost, Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED), Noforija-Epe, for a 4-year Second Term with effect from 2^nd August, 2015.

The approval was conveyed to the Registrar of the Institution via a letter        Ref. LGS/HOS/204/VOL.1/62 dated 13^th July, 2015 and signed by the Head of Service of Lagos State, Mrs. Shade Jaji.

Speaking to our correspondent, the Registrar of the College, Bola Y. Shittu, stated that the re-appointment of Prof. Olu AKEUSOLA for a 4-Year Second Term as Provost, MOCPED was well deserved, judging by world-class infrastructural facilities which the Provost during his first term in office had brought to the College; coupled with improvement in student enrolment, robust staff welfare, training and development.

The Public Relations Officer of the College, Mr. Ilori Abiodun, also stated that Prof. Olu AKEUSOLA by this re-appointment becomes the second Provost of the College that would spend two terms in office as the Chief Executive Officer of the first College of Primary Education in Nigeria.
